There are many important aspects to assessing new clients. We will focus on assessment in terms of attachment styles. We will address the pros and cons of the Quiz, (exciting new research about the quiz), helping clients differentiate between styles, when you don’t agree with a person’s evaluation of their style. For therapists, we will also discuss how to use the first few sessions to demonstrate your competence and using the comfort circle to explore clients’ childhood histories.
