Core Pattern: Vacillator + Victim*

This core pattern is uncommon. The Vacillator + Pleaser pattern is very similar. Both the Pleaser and the Victim have trouble standing up to the Vacillator’s anger. Pleasers may feel they can change the Vacillator if they try hard enough, whereas Victims are more likely to believe they are at fault and deserve the Vacillator’s anger.
