Couples begin by taking the How We Love love styles quiz, then explore the roots of their love style from their family of origin, then what this love style looks like in their marriage, what their triggers and reactions are, connecting the present to the past, and helping each of them develop compassion for what their spouse experienced as a child. I use the Comfort Circle to help couples connect their present to their past and develop compassion for the other. We then look at their Core Pattern together, moving from understanding and insight to changed behavior.
