For the past four years, I have integrated the How We Love principles as a primary framework in my couples counseling practice. I utilize the Comfort Circle, Advanced Comfort Circle, and Attachment Core Patterns to help couples identify reactive cycles, understand their attachment dynamics, and build secure connection. I incorporate the official worksheets and materials in sessions and encourage clients to use the workbooks to support growth outside of therapy. I also apply the model’s growth work in individual counseling, helping clients address triggers, strengthen boundaries, and move toward secure attachment.
